New Day Kids sponsor a boy in Indonesia by the name of Oven. Oven's country has seen many hard times in recent years, from violence to tsunamis to earthquakes.

What grade is Oven in?
This year, Oven is in the 4th grade.

What does Oven like to do?
He's big into sports, with volleyball being his favorite.

What does our money go toward?
Through World Vision, the money from New Day kids is going to help pay for Oven's school fees, his school uniforms and supplies, medical check-ups and other things that help his community.

How can I pray for Oven?
Pray that Oven and his family will be safe and healthy. Pray that he will know that God loves him.

Can I write to Oven?
Absolutely! You can write him a note about your family and ask him about his. If you wanted to draw a picture for him too, that would be great. Then just bring it to church on Sunday to mail in.
